Job Description SpectraMedix is looking for a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to generate actionable insights and support value-based care initiatives for healthcare clients. The role involves analyzing healthcare datasets using SQL, creating interactive dashboards, and managing healthcare data. This position is critical in delivering insights to both clients and internal teams, enabling better decision-making in value-based care. Location: East Windsor, New Jersey (Remote with occasional travel to the East Windsor, NJ office) Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct data analysis on various disparate healthcare datasets Aid in analysis/solution design, development and delivery to healthcare clients. Create interactive dashboards using Tableau, manage and maintain the Tableau server. Manage and maintain various healthcare taxonomy related code sets under MDM practice. Present analysis, findings, insights in relevant internal and external forums. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in any science related discipline 8 - 10 years of experience within the healthcare data analytics industry Proficiency in SQL is a must. Proficiency in developing dashboards using Tableau Exposure to US healthcare, familiarity with data assets in the population health and managed care space (HEDIS / HCPCS / CPT / FHIR / HL7 data). Experience developing statistical models using Python or relevant technologies will be preferred. Required Skill Set (Good to Have): Exposure/proficiency in Python is an advantage Exposure in managing Tableau server is an advantage. Non-Technical / Behavioural Competencies Required Strong verbal and written communication, technical articulation, listening, and presentation skills are essential Should have proven analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated expertise in prioritization, time management, and stakeholder management (both internal and external) is necessary Should be a quick learner, self-starter, proactive, and an effective team player Must have experience working under tight deadlines within a matrix organizational structure. Qualifications Understanding different Quality measures (ECQM / HEDIS / HCPCS/DSRIP / MIPS etc) Bachelor in Engineering or 4-year degree, graduate degree a plus Knowledge of clinical systems and data Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience as a Data Analyst/Business Data Analyst, preferably with The US healthcare client and Health IT projects. Additional Information Candidates for this role must have expertise in Healthcare IT, specifically in areas such as Value-Based Payment Programs, Claims, Attribution, and Quality Measures within population health demographics.
