Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Tasting Room Busser to join our dynamic winery team! This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and efficiently delivering food and small bites to guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys engaging with guests while keeping operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities: The Tasting Room Busser will assist the hospitality team by keeping the tasting room clean, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include promptly clearing and resetting tables, washing and polishing glassware, and restocking wine, merchandise, and other supplies. The busser will help maintain cleanliness and order in all guest areas, including patios and indoor spaces while following all health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment.
In addition to these core duties, the role includes properly disposing of empty bottles and assisting with special events and large group tastings. Teamwork is essential in this role, as the busser will work alongside the Tasting Room Hosts and production staff to enhance the overall guest experience. A friendly, service-oriented attitude is crucial, as this position may entail guest interaction and occasional support with customer service needs.
• Assist with maintaining back-of-house cleanliness, including dishwashing and food prep areas.
• Monitor guests’ needs and communicate with the team to ensure timely service.
• Assist in managing and organizing storage areas for glassware, utensils, and supplies.
• Support setup and breakdown of winery events, including furniture arrangement and décor preparation.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop, and crouch repeatedly.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Work Environment: This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks. The position requires frequent movement, including walking, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Approximately 50% of the work is performed outdoors, requiring adaptability to varying weather conditions. The fast-paced nature of the job makes it an exciting and engaging work environment.
Schedule Requirements:
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
