Lithia Toyota of Springfield-Seeking Techs of All Levels! Pay range depends on your skill set at the time of hire. Pay ranges at $20-$30 flat rate for experienced technicians. Responsibilities: As an Automotive Technician, you will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
- Perform maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
- Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
- Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
- Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools
- Responsibilities will vary depending on your skill level
Qualifications: - Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- Experience as an at home or professional technician preferred.
- Ability to navigate technology with ease.
- Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
