Are you an expert in cloud and data center infrastructure with a passion for designing and managing scalable, secure systems? We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center & Cloud Architect to develop and maintain our hybrid cloud environments while ensuring performance, security, and compliance. In addition to strategic planning, you will provide hands-on technical support and serve as a Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer when needed.

What You’ll Do:

Design & Architecture:

• Develop and implement robust data center and cloud architectures aligned with business objectives.
  
• Design and manage hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud environments.
  

Operational Support:

• Act as the Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer during operations, resolving issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring uptime.
  
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to balance cost efficiency with high performance.
  

Security & Compliance:

• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards across all environments.
  
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud and data center operations.
  

Project Leadership:

• Lead infrastructure projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
  
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on architecture, configurations, and processes.
  

Mentorship & Team Development:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering skill development and team growth.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering and data center management.
  

• At least 3 years in an architecture or senior engineering role.
  

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including networking and virtualization.
  

• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python).
  

• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  

• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Architect preferred.
  

• Additional certifications in networking or data center technologies are a plu
